CEFTUS Celebrates 15 Years – Join Us for a Special Anniversary Year
The Centre for Turkey Studies (CEFTUS) is approaching an important milestone as we prepare to celebrate our 15th anniversary this year.
Founded in 2011, CEFTUS began as an idea shared by a small group of people who believed in the importance of bringing communities together and encouraging meaningful dialogue on the issues that matter to Türkiye, the United Kingdom, and our communities living in both countries. Over the past decade and a half, CEFTUS has grown into a highly respected cross-party and cross-community organisation in the UK, providing a platform for discussion, engagement, and cooperation.
To mark this special occasion, we will be hosting what promises to be a very special 15th Anniversary Gala Dinner in London later this year. The evening will bring together community leaders, policymakers, business figures, and friends of CEFTUS to celebrate the achievements of the past fifteen years and to look ahead to the future.

15th Community Achievement Awards – Nominations Now Open
As part of our anniversary celebrations, the Turkish, Kurdish and Turkish Cypriot Community Achievement Awards will return for their 15th year. These awards recognise outstanding individuals and organisations within our communities who have made significant contributions across areas such as business, public service, culture, community engagement and leadership.
Nominations for the 15th Community Achievement Awards are now open, and we invite you to put forward individuals or organisations you believe deserve recognition.
