The 14th anniversary of Ceftus was celebrated in the prestigious Jubilee Room of the UK Parliament, with distinguished participation from Members of Parliament (MPs), academics, and Turkish scholars based in the UK.
During the celebration, MP Afzal Khan, the UK’s Envoy for Trade with Turkey, delivered an impactful speech. He highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the UK and Turkey, emphasizing the significant role Ceftus plays in fostering deeper academic and economic ties.
MP Rupa Huq gave an inspiring speech, reflecting on her recent visit to Turkey, which had been facilitated by Ceftus. She shared how the trip provided valuable insights into Turkey’s rich culture, history, and dynamic political landscape.
Barry Gardiner MP also spoke highly of the organization’s pivotal role in enhancing UK-Turkey relations. He praised Ceftus for its ongoing efforts to facilitate meaningful dialogue and promote mutual understanding between the two nations.
